🌍 Xcat – A Borderless Marketplace

Xcat Marketplace is being built as a borderless general marketplace. Individuals, businesses and independent sellers can list their own products from their own country without Xcat needing to operate completely separate marketplaces for every region.

Sellers are not restricted to Xcat's original tools and DIY categories. The marketplace is designed to expand across a much wider range of products, and sellers can request a new marketplace category when a suitable category for their products does not yet exist.

Xcat marketplace categories are now country-aware. Sellers can list products from their own country, while buyers can filter marketplace category product grids to find products available in their own country.

This allows Xcat to develop as one international marketplace while retaining local relevance for buyers. A marketplace category can contain listings from sellers in different countries, while buyers can concentrate on the listings that are relevant to where they live.

🛒 Anyone Can Become a General Xcat Seller

Individuals and businesses can register as general Xcat sellers and list their own products using their own stock.

General sellers do not need to join the Xcat Sales Associate Programme in order to sell on Xcat Marketplace.

Standard marketplace listings have no upfront listing fee, allowing sellers to start listing without paying simply to place their products in the marketplace. Xcat instead uses a low marketplace commission when a standard marketplace product sells.

🤝 What Is the Xcat Sales Associate Programme?

The Xcat Sales Associate Programme is separate from general marketplace selling.

It is a higher-trust opportunity for suitable registered Xcat users who may progress towards holding Xcat-owned stock within their own country or region and earning money by providing local fulfilment for Xcat orders.

Xcat can retain ownership of this inventory while an approved associate stores the stock locally and fulfils orders when required. The longer-term aim is to develop a distributed international fulfilment network that can bring selected Xcat-owned products closer to customers in different countries and regions.

⭐ Building Trust Through General Selling

Becoming an Xcat Sales Associate is not automatic. One of the ways a potential associate can demonstrate suitability is by first building a successful and trustworthy history as a general Xcat seller.

By selling and fulfilling their own products through Xcat, sellers have the opportunity to demonstrate reliability, fulfilment performance and good customer service before being considered for responsibility for Xcat-owned stock.

🚗 Xcat Motors Is Now Live

Xcat Motors is Xcat's specialist automotive marketplace, allowing private and trade sellers to advertise vehicles and enabling buyers to browse vehicles and contact sellers directly.

Have a vehicle to sell? Create your advert, upload photographs and add the vehicle details to make it available to buyers through Xcat Motors. New vehicle listings can also appear on the What's New at Xcat Marketplace page.

🏠 Tiny Homes & Specialist Listings

Xcat is also introducing specialist marketplace categories including tiny homes, cabins and other high-value listings. These specialist areas demonstrate how Xcat is expanding beyond its original retail categories into a much broader marketplace.

🔋 Power Tool Batteries & Chargers

Although Xcat is expanding into a general marketplace, tools and DIY remain an important part of its heritage.

Our latest power tool batteries feature upgraded lithium-ion cells and refreshed Union Jack designs. Products are available for popular tool platforms including DeWalt XR, Makita LXT and Black & Decker 20V MAX. Xcat batteries are tested in the UK and supported by our warranty programme.

We've also expanded our range of intelligent fast chargers, with features including LED diagnostics, automatic cut-off protection and reliable charging performance.
