1-Year Warranty Badge – Guaranteed Quality on Tools and Accessories from Xcatalogue UK

1-Year Product Warranty – Xcatalogue

Welcome to our Product Warranty Information page. At Xcatalogue, we believe in delivering long-term value and trusted performance. That’s why selected new and refurbished tools and products are backed by a 1-year warranty, giving you lasting protection well beyond your purchase.

In addition, we offer a 30-day returns policy on all products, regardless of warranty status. This is separate from our warranty and is subject to the terms of our Returns Policy.

🛠️ 1-Year Warranty Coverage

Our 1-year warranty applies only to products clearly marked with a 1-Year Warranty label on their product pages. This coverage includes mechanical or electrical faults that occur under normal use during the first 12 months.

If your product develops a covered fault within that period, we’ll arrange a repair or replacement using the same product or a close equivalent. However, if the item is out of stock or discontinued, we may offer a partial or full refund, depending on the circumstances and in accordance with our warranty terms and your statutory rights.

✅ What Is Covered

  • Repairs or replacements for manufacturing defects

  • Free replacement of faulty components where appropriate and parts are available

  • A direct exchange if the same product is still in stock

  • A full or partial refund where an appropriate repair or replacement cannot be provided, subject to our warranty terms and statutory obligations

❌ What’s Not Covered

Our warranty excludes the following:

  • General wear and tear or cosmetic damage

  • Misuse, incorrect operation, or failure to follow user instructions

  • Products that have been modified or repaired by unauthorised individuals

  • Consumables such as blades, sanding pads, or drill bits

  • Damage caused by accidents, impacts, water, or extreme environments

  • Packaging, storage cases, user manuals, or accessories unrelated to product function

  • Products inspected and found to be operating correctly with no covered fault present

📩 How to Make a Warranty Claim

At Xcatalogue, we want your tools and accessories to give you reliable performance and lasting value. That’s why we’ve introduced our registered warranty system, giving you a simple and transparent way to manage your warranties directly from your account.

By registering your products, you’ll have visibility of coverage dates, warranty IDs and claim status in one convenient dashboard.

Making a Claim Step by Step

Making a warranty claim is quick, secure and completely online:

  1. Log in to your account and go to My Dashboard → Registered Warranties.

  2. Locate the product you wish to claim against and click Make a Claim.

  3. A short form will appear, prefilled with your product details, including SKU, warranty ID and purchase source. Simply describe the fault and, if helpful, upload supporting photographs.

  4. When you click Submit Claim, your request is logged and a unique Claim Number is generated. Any applicable return instructions will then be provided.

📦 Warranty Return Postage & Inspection

Products returned under warranty may need to be inspected and tested before a warranty fault can be confirmed.

Where appropriate, Xcatalogue may provide a prepaid return label or arrange collection to enable the product to be returned for warranty assessment. Providing prepaid return postage or arranging collection does not constitute acceptance or confirmation that the product is faulty or covered by the warranty.

If a Warranty Fault Is Confirmed

If our inspection confirms a fault covered by the warranty, the claim will be processed in accordance with these warranty terms and your statutory rights.

Where Xcatalogue has arranged or provided reasonable return carriage for a confirmed warranty fault, Xcatalogue will bear the applicable return carriage cost.

If No Warranty Fault Is Found

If the returned product is inspected and tested and no covered fault is found, or the product is found to be operating correctly, we will contact you with the results of our assessment.

Where Xcatalogue has paid for or arranged return carriage before the product was inspected, we may require the customer to pay the reasonable carriage cost associated with returning the product to Xcatalogue and/or sending the product back to the customer where no warranty fault is found, where permitted by law.

We will advise you of any applicable charge before the product is returned to you.

Restricted or Regulated Products

Certain products, including lithium-ion batteries, may be subject to postal, courier or transport restrictions.

Customers should not send restricted or regulated products using an unsuitable postal or courier service. Where necessary, please contact Xcatalogue before returning such an item so that appropriate return instructions can be provided.

What Happens Next

Once your item has been returned, our team will carry out an inspection and, where necessary, functional testing.

If the product can be repaired and replacement parts are available, we’ll complete the repair. If a repair is not appropriate or possible, we may offer an exchange for the same item or an appropriate equivalent, subject to availability.

Where an appropriate repair or replacement cannot be provided, a refund or other remedy may be provided in accordance with our warranty terms and your statutory rights.

Your Peace of Mind

By registering your warranty with Xcatalogue, any future claim can be managed through your account without having to search for warranty paperwork.

Your warranty details and claim history remain securely associated with your account, giving you a clear record of your warranty coverage and any claims made.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Returns Policy vs Warranty

Our 30-day returns policy is separate from the 1-year warranty and is subject to our Returns Policy.

Warranty claims made after the 30-day return window are handled under the 1-year warranty terms for eligible products.

A warranty claim is not automatically accepted simply because a product has been returned for inspection. Warranty coverage is confirmed following assessment of the reported fault and the condition of the returned product.
