I’m curious what people reach for most in their workshop.

If you had to choose just one tool for everyday jobs, would it be a cordless drill or an impact driver?

I’ve seen a lot of people say once they start using an impact driver they hardly touch their drill for screw driving anymore.

But for DIY work around the house I still find myself using the drill most of the time.

What’s everyone else’s experience?

I was exactly the same for ages 😄 always grabbed the drill for everything.

Then I bought an impact driver and now I probably use that 80% of the time for screws. Especially longer screws or decking screws, it’s just quicker and less strain on the wrist.

Still use the drill loads though for pilot holes and general DIY stuff around the house. Honestly think having both together is the best setup.
